Mission Statement

The Deacon Ministry's mission is to love God, to love each other and to love our neighbors.  We will deepen this relationship through prayer, bible study and using our spiritual talents.  We will support the Pastor and ministerial staff in performing pastoral duties; assist in the worship service and administering of the Ordinances of the church (Baptism and Communion).  We support the church vision to accomplish its mission by encouraging the community of believers to grow as active disciples of Christ, participating in the global mission of, "The Great Commission."  We strive to meet the needs of the congregation through watch-care, assisting those in need through the fellowship fund, evangelism and visitation of the sick and shut-in.
